Recently, I’ve been getting into drinking tea. I wasn’t a big tea drinker before; I drank it every now and then. But I’m not going to lie seeing other people talk about the teas they drink ignited my interest again.

I love the Yogi tea brand. There are teas for specific concerns. For instance, I have tea for stress relief, a tumeric tea for overall health, a tea that helps with skin health, a tea for immunity, and a tea for respiratory health. I try to get teas that fit my need so I’m glad that Yogi has a variety to choose from. All of my teas are caffenine free because I learned that caffenine temporarily raises your blood pressure, and I don’t think caffenine is good for you if you suffer from anxiety. Also, black tea ( I don’t sweeten it) supposedly has some health benefits.

This pandemic has everyone either decorating, organizing, or something of the sorts. I’ve done some organizing too. I wrote about it in my blog post 5 New Bathroom Items I Love.

After seeing some examples of tea and coffee stations, I was inspired to again do some organizing. So here is my tea area. I’ll break down some of the items in the picture.

I made the tea sign using Dollar Tree items ( I love dollar tree btw). I purchased a canvas, stencils, paint, and paint brushes. I wanted to personalize this area so I thought the sign would be a nice touch. It’s not the best but I’ satisfied with what I have now.

These are honey spoons. I actually saw someone else using these and decided to give it a try. I’m always trying something and I’m a sucker for neat and creative items. There are different flavors which I plan to try also. I really like this flavor and it does sweeten my tea; it’s the only thing I add as of right now. I’m also going to see about making my own honey spoons.

I recently purchased this glass kettle and I’m loving it! It boils the water pretty quick. It has measuring lines on the side so you can see how many cups you want to make. It automatically turns off when the water is done boiling. You can also use this for soups, oatmeal, coffee, etc. This kettle is so much easier for me to use versus boiling water in a pot.

Setting up my tea station is my form of self care. Hence my sign “ Tea time is me time”. I’m proud of my little tea area.

Tell me in the comments below if you have a tea or coffee station and what kind you drink.
