Jada & August: Are we going to talk about how that was inappropriate?

I know everyone has heard by now the drama surrounding Jada Pinkett Smith and August Alsina.

After August revealed in an interview with Angela Yee that he was in a relationship with Jada, everyone was waiting to see what would happen next.

On July 2nd, Jada tweeted, “There’s some healing that needs to happen…so I’m bringing myself to The Red Table.”

Then on July 10th, she ,alongside with her husband, aired an almost 12 minute Red Table Talk episode. They discussed what happened between her and August. It started with the couple separating. During that separation Jada and August started a relationship. An entanglement is what she called it.

Some people believed Jada took advantage of August while others believed August was also at fault. There is also speculation about the timing of the reveal due to that fact that August had music coming out.
